We tend to be more effective when we feel safe at workplace – Anna Dziadkowiec and Adrian Król from Nowy Styl discuss this concept in the next episode of Make Your Space Again. Based on our report titled “Welcome back… to the office” they will tell us what to remember about when preparing the office space before we welcome the employees coming back after the long absence. Watch the episode and listen to what our experts have to say.
Our everyday experience in the office is largely made up of automatic, repetitive activities. We didn’t think about them until recently – we just sat down at the desk, had coffee or joined our colleagues at lunch. The past few months have changed all of this. The coronavirus pandemic has locked us down in our homes for a few weeks. After the isolation was finally over, we started to analyse virtually everything we do to make sure we are safe.
The same is with going back to the office. Before we return, we want to be sure that the space around us does not pose a risk to our health. That’s why creating a safe working environment is one of the greatest challenges faced by office managers. And it is for them that we have come up with the report titled “Welcome back… to the office”.
- The publication was based on the interviews we conducted with employees. We asked them what their greatest fears and concerns were with regard to the return to the office. This is how we were able to come up with a kind of mini-guidebook, based on six pillars that need to be considered when rearranging the office before the employees come bac k– says our expert, Anna Dziadkowiec, Senior Workplace Consultant at Nowy Styl, in an interview conducted by Olimpia Ajakaiye.
The abovementioned pillars include, among others: new rules for using shared space, proper communication and introducing relevant products to help you maintain proper hygiene and social distance. - As regards social distancing, there are special Plexiglas extensions and covers. They are easy to assemble and clean, and the transparent material will not interfere with the interior design of your office – explains Adrian Król, Head of the Product Advisory and Training Department at Nowy Styl, showcasing a choice of products from our innovative Safety Solutions line, designed in the wake of the pandemic.
Our experts do realise that each office is a separate workplace, that’s why individual office managers will face different problems. In order to include all the important items that impact our sense of security and boost our effectiveness at work, it is good to use some expert advice, so as to adjust the office space to the new normal.
