              Red Dot award for Kusch+Co

              Kusch+Co, one of the Nowy Styl brands, was acclaimed for its V-Care chair in one of the major design contests in the world: the Red Dot Design Award 2022.

              Red Dot is a high-profile quality trademark recognised among designers. Each year competent expert juries select outstanding examples of design. This year hundreds of applications were submitted by designers, design studios and manufacturers from about 60 countries. Each application was analysed and evaluated by an international panel of 48 experts. The award was ultimately granted to those products that drew the jury’s attention with the quality of design.

              In this year of the competition, I have been particularly struck by the exceptional creativity shown by the award-winning products. It is really impressive and praiseworthy that there are still designs out there that can surprise us with their form and functionality. This makes it clear that design cannot be restricted or brought to a standstill by unfavourable circumstances – says Peter Zec, the founder and CEO of Red Dot.

              The acclaimed product – V-Care, is a novelty in the Kusch+Co portfolio. It’s a functional chair made of integral polyurethane is a splendid combination of comfort and unique design. The chair will fit a variety of public spaces – from the challenging interiors for hospitals and nursing homes to conference halls, libraries and restaurants.               It’s not the first time that Nowy Styl celebrates the Red Dot Award. In the previous editions of the contest, the distinction was granted to our Play&Work system and the Njord armchair by Kusch+Co.
