Siemens Campus Erlangen Case study

W ho was Ernst Werner von Siemens? Even if the name of the 19th-century engineer doesn’t ring a bell, his surname must seemobvious. More than 170 years ago thisman founded a brand that has grown to become a global leader inmodern technologies. Werner was famous for constructing the first telegraph line between Berlin and Frankfurt am Main – it was 500 km long. The engineer realised that quick, unrestricted communication is the key to civilisational progress. This belief became the underlying assumption and the driving force behind the company he founded. Nowadays Siemens comes up with technologies for factories and flexible supply chains, smart buildings and networks, transport and health care. Werner’s successors continue implementing his ideas and prioritise easy communication. Over the past few years, they reached another milestone in this respect. Siemens Campus Erlangen is the largest investment so far. By 2030 the campus will have become a large, vibrant district with attractive office infrastructure. Our company – Nowy Styl, as a leader of ergonomic solutions for offices and public spaces, was invited to work on this project. We provide furniture and assist with interior design so that employees can enjoy attractive and comfortable offices. So far we have completed Module 1 and together with Siemens, we are making an effort to advance the next module. Today we would like to invite you to have a sneak peek at the largest investment in the history of Siemens. You will have the opportunity to relax over a cup of coffee in the chillout zone and try brainstorming under the wall that is bustling with new ideas scribbled on its surface. We hope you will join us on the short journey and learn more about the place that is definitely worth exploring. Enjoy the read! Nowy Styl Team
