Kanu
In today's fast-moving world, where the pace of life is accelerating, we have few opportunities to slow down, listen in to ourselves and take care of our wellbeing. All you need to do is sit back and allow yourself to relax, whether at home, in the office, in a hotel or during a break while travelling.
Unique shape
At first glance, it is obvious that the Kanu has a distinctive shape. The unique form of the seat and back is made from a single plywood moulding, creating cohesion between the two elements. And it was this shape, reminiscent of a canoe, that inspired the designer to name this lounge armchair.

Functional, well-thought-out design
Kanu is very comfortable. The depth of the moulded seat and the wide, ergonomically curved backrest make it very comfy to sit on. The strong upward curve of the seat makes it easy to stand up, despite the lack of armrests. It is easy to lean on when getting up from the armchair. The ensemble is capped off by the option of ordering an armchair with upholstered pads, which increases seating comfort. There is also a version with an attractive cut-out in the backrest which, apart from the visual aspect, makes it easier to take Kanu and move it to a place where every moment becomes a pleasure.

Tomasz Augustyniak
Industrial designer, graduate of the Faculty of Interior Design and Industrial Design at the Poznan University of Art. For over 20 years he has worked with industrial, institutional, and private clients, creating designs for the home, for office and public spaces. He has won numerous design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award. His works are in the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw and are part of the permanent exhibition of the Gallery of Polish Design. His many years of experience in the product design process and its implementation into production have allowed him to develop effective methods of cooperation with clients in relation to individual projects, entire collections, and the creation of new brands.

Thanks to the unusual shape of the Kanu's seat, you can sit in many different positions. You can sit as upright as in a chair or as relaxed as in an armchair. Thanks to the curvature of the seat and its above-average width, you can even sit on the Kanu with your legs crossed. Feel good.
