Our Düsseldorf showroom is one of the places where our customers and business partners can see how our furniture and spatial solutions work in practice. Here, exhibition areas intersect with office work zones which are regularly used by several teams.
Our Düsseldorf space has a floor area of 700 m2, divided into different zones.
– The concept of the showroom involved creating separate working areas for all departments, previously scattered on two floors. Not only was it possible to fit everyone on one floor. Each team now has its own space, and there are two kitchens – for customers and employees, as well as a training and exhibition area connected to a creative zone – says architect Jana Pajanowska, the author of the interior design.
The showroom and office combination offers a great benefit, as customers can have a live experience of how a space created according to our design concepts, based on products offered by Nowy Styl works.
– We think that proven solutions expressed in a modern design, following the latest trends, are the best way to inspire customers to create offices that improve employee and team performance – adds Jana Pajanowska.
An office of today could not do without the support of technology. In Düsseldorf, we used flexible Bluetooth-based lighting offering control of advanced features to instantly adjust to users’ and customers’ needs. The software and digital tools allow you to configure, control and manage the lighting infrastructure, but also analyse and use data collected by sensors installed in the systems.
The interior of the building where the office and showroom are located is dominated by austere concrete. This type of finish carries a certain risk – it imposes a specific style of arrangement and introduces a lot of shades of grey. And experts in design and colour psychology say that grey can negatively affect the well-being of employees. To find out more about colours, see our interview with an expert.
– Throughout most of the showroom, we managed to soften the raw concrete interiors with a strong, navy-blue colour of the walls and carpets, while relying on brighter blue features in the work zone, and green in the administration zone. Also, we were not afraid to use black, which goes perfectly well with the industrial climate of the space – explains Jana Pajanowska.
Green and navy blue – these two colours are the hallmark of our Düsseldorf showroom. You will find them in the Fashion Collection of the new edition of our sample book.
