How to arrange a modern office? There is no single recipe. Which is why we invited experts from various disciplines and countries to talk on this topic. Poland, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Austria and Slovakia – specialists from these markets are going to discuss the different European office trends and the varying needs of businesses. We also invited our customers and partners to take part in Office Talks and share their own experience in arranging offices.
Adrian Król, Head of Product Training Team, Nowy Styl Group:
Acoustics is becoming increasingly popular. It is not only about sound absorption. Depending on the purpose of the space, the objective may be different. In conference rooms, we should pay attention to speech intelligibility. In open spaces, we should look for privacy, reduce noise levels and reduce reverberation time.
Joanna Perek (Zapała), Architect, Nowy Styl Group:
It is very important to choose solutions that combine functionality and design for projects. Acoustics is also a very important aspect. Therefore, as an architect I often choose solutions and products with acoustic properties. Thanks to acoustics, we can create the right climate for work in a space we are designing. As a result, the work can be more efficient. Acoustic products include a number of different solutions such as pieces of furniture with acoustic walls, acoustic panels and acoustic curtains – great materials to use when you are arranging your work space.
