Nowy Styl, a leader in comprehensive furniture solutions for offices and public spaces, has made it to one of the most renowned sports events: the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Forum by Nowy Styl provided more than 95 thousand modern chairs, made in Poland for sports fans attending the Allianz Riviera stadium in Nice and Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon – both of which hosted football games during the 2024 Olympics. Forum by Nowy Styl is one of the Nowy Styl brands which offers solutions for public spaces, such as sports stadiums. To date, it has furnished more than 40 stadiums all over the world. The Nowy Styl production facility also made armchairs for the most prestigious VIP sectors and lounges.

Allianz Riviera: The stadium in Nice will host six group-stage games and one quarter-final match. Parc Olympique Lyonnais: The stadium in Lyon will host six group stage games, a men’s quarter-final game and a women’s semi-final.

Both sports facilities feature the Abacus chairs designed by Rebecca Stewart from the renowned Arup studio. The designer received the FX Award for this project, a distinction for international design talents.
Frankly speaking, designing chairs is one of the most challenging tasks I know. Chairs have always been part of our lives, that’s why it’s virtually impossible to think of something more comfortable, beautiful and suited to the needs and tastes of clients from various cultures, with all sorts of bodies. A stadium chair is the only object a football fan has prolonged contact with. Often a few hours on end. That’s why these chairs should be a flagship object, a testimony to the quality of the entire facility. They must make a good impression at first go and keep it going until the final whistle.

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, at the Vélodrome National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the track cycling competition took place. This modern sports facility was launched in 2014 and it’s the heart of the French cycling, as well as the official seat of the French Cycling Federation. During the Olympics, the Vélodrome hosted both track cycling and para-cycling. This place, too, has chairs by Forum by Nowy Styl.
The 33rd Summer Olympics to be held in Paris in 2024. The host was announced on 13th September 2017 at the 131. IOC Session in Lima. Paryż hosted the Summer Olympics twice before, in 1900 and 1924.

Thanks to the strategic partnership of Forum by Nowy Styl with the Azoty Compounding Group, the chairs were made with a granulate, which is more than 80% made of post-production waste. The Eintracht Frankfurt Stadium was the venue for UEFA EURO 2024 football matches.
