The ABB Campus in Mannheim is an expression of ABB's commitment to the location. The building is characterised by its high-quality design and the integration of offices and advanced laboratories. It serves as an innovation centre for industrial digitalisation and artificial intelligence, bringing together research, business units, customers, partners, universities and start-ups.
The campus promotes communication and collaboration across different areas and is equipped with intelligent technologies for building automation, energy distribution and electromobility that contribute to energy efficiency and climate protection.
Architecturally outstanding smart building
The five-storey building, which will house over 1,300 employees, is 28 metres high and has a gross floor area of around 30,000 square metres with a usable area of almost 26,000 square metres. Around 19,000 cubic metres of concrete and 3,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel were used in the construction of the shell.

Thanks to integral planning, we succeeded in planning an excellent building in a very short time and are now celebrating the` topping-out ceremony.
